Background Info

The Special Forces kit is an added value to any team, he has the ability to plant the all mighty C4 "sticky bombs". These "sticky bombs" can take out just about anything in the game from the Commanders artillery to bridges or the enemies armor. This will literally pick up and move you 30 feet.

The Spec Op kit is often referred to as the loan wolf kit, albeit it is good for this, the kit has plenty to offer to any squad. The ability of the special forces solider to set booby traps and destroy armor makes it very handy to have around for any squad.

To your left is a navigation menu of the different items found in the BF2 special force's kit. Below you will find a strategies and tactics section. This section will provide you with valuable tips and tricks for the spec op class.

Bridges, Commanders, and C4!?

The Special Forces soldier kit comes equipped with C4 (sticky bombs). The C4 can be thrown on to just about anything then detonated from a safe distance.

Enemy Commander Assets:
The enemy commander has the use of his UAV, Satellite, and Artillery as long as you haven't blown them up. You should find the enemy assets mentioned previously and place (2) two C4 packs on each (Note you only have 5 packs and you will need re-supply).

Once you have destroyed an asset(s) hang around for a few and see if an engineer comes to repair it, or if the commander drops a supply crate. If the engineer shows up take him out and earn yourself a frag. If the enemy commander drops a Supply Crate, run over load back up, place your C4 (making sure to get the supply crate in the blat radius), reload once more, run for cover, and detonate. Make note that you can only have (5) five C4 packs out at any given time, the first laid pack will simply disappear.
